MORNING SHERROD

Morning began her silversmith journey in 2006 after retiring from a career in Home Interior Designs. She took classes at William Holland School of Lapidary Arts from every available instructor. She studied Chasing and Repousse under Tom and Kay Benham and achieved a level 4 certification in metal clay from Teva Chaffin.

Within a few years she was teaching Silver 1, 2, and Southwest style at William Holland and the Wild Acres School in North Carolina. She also taught Chasing and Repousse along with mixed metal cold connections.

Morning enjoys using all these techniques along with high quality polished stones to create her own one of a kind treasures. Her jewelry has earned awards at juried shows in the southeast. She even managed to work in a 4 year term as the president of the Montgomery Gem and Mineral Society. She is blessed with creative flair and enjoys sharing her skill and knowledge with others.
