Biography

Carla Vincent Levers is a portrait and landscape artist fluent in both pastel and oil. A Lafayette, Louisiana native, she leads a life brimming with creative energy. Her rich Cajun heritage with its unique cuisine, music, and dance has lent inspiration to her artistic endeavors. In 2023, she relocated to the white sands of the Gulf Coast to enjoy all that the area has to offer.

For Carla, painting is not just recording what she sees, but going beyond it to express a feeling from within. Her portraits truly celebrate and capture the essence of the individual. Carla’s goal is for her landscapes and portraits to provoke a response from the viewer both passionate and soulful with an added element of mystique inviting them to view continuously.
